My wife went to the front desk for a room service menu.they said to scan the QR code in our room. They proceeded to repeat the menu to me via word of mouth caues they did not have a menu. The next day I went to the resort services desk for a menu. We called again to get someone else, and they finally said they would bring us a menu. we called and asked for a menu again, and they said to use the QR code on the TV. They then said to turn to channel 2 for the menu. Room Service - there was NO menu in our room. Went to the Italian place to eat the next day, once again, mostly picked over with just odd ball items. Veggies were cold, steak was medium rare (I asked for well done). 20 minutes later they brought our food out. The kids were done eating and the waiter came over and started to clear the table then asked us how our meal was. Went looking for dinner, and it seems half of the restaruants were closed? We got reservations finally at the steak house Toro. Not sure what is up with their cheese here. The same thing happened when we ordered pizza the next day at the pool. We ordered a pizza and the cheese seemed watery. It was picked over and almost nothing was left when we got there. When we first arrived the only place open was the Market buffet. We stayed at the Hard Rock in Cabo last year and really enjoyed it. I have stayed in some dives and eaten bad food, but the people always try to make things right. puerto vallarta, cozumel, and Cabo (mainly Cabo). We have been going to Mexico almost once a year since 2003. Overall we had a great trip and are confident our friends and family will have a great trip for our wedding! *Wedding Department: Gabby was excellence with our on site visit and showing us wedding spaces, answering questions, etc.… The layout of the rooms do feel a little smaller than rooms at other hotels, but this was not an issue for us. The roof top was nice to sit out on in the morning. Rooms: We had a sky terrace room and it was beautiful. We did notice a difference in how each bar tender made drinks, but he was spot on with his skills. Heaven Bar: Isai at the Heaven Bar made us FABULOUS craft cocktails. It was also easy to walk into the lobby and grab a pre packaged salad or sandwich from caffetto. The options were plentiful - pork tacos, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chicken strips, fajitas, nachos, fruit cups, mac & cheese, etc. We were able to grab food near the pool and not have to go to an indoor restaurant. Pool Entertainment: Jazzi Quinn, Eduardo, Danny and Baby Shark (Josh) made our days really fun! They were funny and something we looked forward to every day. We were able to arrive around 10am and had no problem finding a chair. We found that we did NOT have to put towels out at 6am like most resorts. All of the pools were cleaned and well maintained. We did visit the Float Pool on the family side, as well as the new adults only Oasis Pool. Lizabet and Christian took AMAZING care of us when it came to drinks and food. The pool had daily activities at 1 and 3pm and music playing. Pools: We spent our days at the central pool in the adults only section of the resort. Leonel at Toro was a great waiter! He made my fiance feel extra special for his birthday. The longest we had to wait for a table was 20 minutes. Typically we went to dinner in the 6:30-7:30 range. We are beyond happy with our choice in hotel! Restaurants: Every meal we had was great! Restaurants did not require a reservation and we had no problem getting seated for dinner. We chose this resort for our upcoming wedding and visited for a week to check out the resort and do some wedding planning.
